Within industrial analysis, it is common for certain processes to be complicated to evaluate and / or to require complicated, bulky or expensive equipment. FUJIFILM innovates in three types of industrial analysis, greatly facilitating process evaluation tasks through its industrial analysis films.

- Contact surfaces and / or pressure analysis: The PRESCALE line of pressure analysis film greatly facilitates the evaluation of the state of multiple types of processes where 2 surfaces make contact with each other, being able to quickly evaluate pressure variations, variations of alignment, possible leakage in seals, wear or fractures in molds, mechanical analysis in biomedical, multiple types of scientific analysis, etc. - Contact surfaces temperature analysis: The THERMOSCALE line of temperature analysis film allows to evaluate the distribution of heat from specific positions to complete surfaces, visualizing variations in density and color. - Ultraviolet lighting distribution analysis: The UVSCALE line of ultraviolet lighting analysis film allows to evaluate the ultraviolet light saturation of a surface allowing to detect flaws in UV equipment such as sterilizers, developers or other UV equipment as well as measurement of security levels and / or UV leakage, among other applications. Download Catalog here! PRESCALE Pressure Analysis FilmPRESCALE is the only film in the world that can measure pressure and pressure distribution visually. Easily measure pressure balance, distribution, and size of an entire surface at a glance. The color appears red where pressure is applied, and the color density varies according to the amount of pressure. PRESCALE covers a wide pressure range (0.006 to 300 MPa), we supply eight types and nine variations of Prescale.
The microcapsules in the color-forming layer are broken by pressure, and the colorless dye is absorbed into the developer, causing a chemical reaction to produce a red color. The microcapsules containing the color-forming material are adjusted to varying sizes and strengths, and is coated uniformly, producing a color density that corresponds to the amount of pressure.
FUJIFILM's advanced technology in color film manufacturing enables Fuji to produce extremely thin and stable Prescale films of less than 200μm(100μmx2). PRESCALE accuracy is at least better than +/- 10% at 23 ° C to 65% RH humidity. The many uses of PRESCALE include (but are not limited to): check contact surfaces, uniformity, leakage, physical state, cracks, mechanical movement, rolling, impact and much more, within a variety of industries such as automotive, electronics, metalworking, biomedical, optics, construction, robotics, manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical, etc.
